
1 You call him Dr. Jones. On May 31, Denver Police responded to a disturbance at the Ball Park Lofts, 1451 24th St. The reporting party said a suspect named Indiana Jones was intoxicated and refused to leave. When police arrived, they cuffed him, but he spun around and attempted to get free. Police were able to subdue him and complete the arrest.
2 Fired employee blocks driveway. On May 29, Denver police responded to a call at a landscaping company in the 12500 block of East 39th Avenue. Police arrived to find a truck blocking the driveway and a man — a former employee who was fired two months earlier — with a tablet dancing. Police ordered the man to drop the tablet. When he refused, the officer drew his weapon and ordered him down.
3Woman tries to slip out with sandals. A woman was arrested May 30 after she tried to steal sandals from TJ Maxx, 710 16th St. Denver Police learned that the woman put on a pair of sandals and put her old shoes in the box. She then walk out of the store, but was stopped. She had two warrants.
4 Victim too trusting during pot deal. A man called Denver police on May 30 after a deal went bad in front of Native Roots Apothecary, 910 16th St. The victim told police that he responded to an ad for discounted medical marijuana. When he met the suspect, he gave over $1,300 and was told to wait. The suspect never returned.
5 Man knocked out, robbed. A man was knocked unconscious and robbed by an unknown assailant on May 30 in the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
