1 Bike sign vandalized. On June 4, a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy responded to Arrowwood Drive and McArthur Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch, where someone had used red and blue spray paint to vandalize a “Bike Lane Ends” sign. It was estimated to cost $100 to clean.

2 Theft of tools. On June 4, a deputy was dispatched to The Home Depot, 1200 Mayberry Drivein Highlands Ranch, where someone stole several tools from the bed of a man’s truck as he was calling a locksmith after he locked his keys in his car.

3 My precious. On June 3, a deputy was dispatched to the 10500 block of Atwood Circle in Highlands Ranch where someone had stolen a gold wedding band and a $600 smartphone. The victim said she’s had about 20 contractors in and out of her house the past three months and found footprints going from the basement to upstairs, where they weren’t allowed.

4 Wallet stolen. On June 2, a deputy talked to a man who was camping at Rainbow Falls Park,14000 Rainbow Falls Roadin Sedalia, who had left his wallet in his car while setting up a tent. He found it missing when he went back to his truck.

5 BB damage. On June 2, a deputy responded to the 9900 block of Wyecliff Drive in Highlands Ranch where someone damaged a window pane with a large BB, probably from a slingshot. It was estimated to cost $1,000-$1,500 to fix.

6 Broken lights. On June 2, a deputy responded to the 8900 block of Greenspointe Lanein Highlands Ranch where someone had broken a light outside a family’s home during the middle of the night.
