Newcomer to stage, Denver band is looking to make waves this summer with its four-pronged attack and sweater-psych sound.
With backgrounds in poetry and psych-rock, guitarist and vocalist Cody Coffey wrangled Clay Cornelius for guitar, Pablo Cruz for bass and Nick Layne for drums. Formed in 2012, the Denver act has been busy lately, acquiring Layne on drums and prepping to release their debut, 10-song album “SDREAMS” at the end of the summer.
Citing such influences as Beck, Kurt Cobain and Deerhunter, the band blends the classic with the contemporary to give off ambient vibes punctuated by emotional lyrics. The band plays The UMS July 24-27. Look for more info and schedule updates right here.
