1 Tire a gift of crime. Police were dispatched to a trailer park at 5741 W. 6th Ave. on June 25 on a theft report. The lot owner said he found a rim and tire that a customer had reported stolen on the back of another trailer. The trailer owner said he got it from a man named John. He was issued a summons for theft by receiving.

2 Ex-boyfriend arrested. A woman who had been assaulted by her boyfriend called 911 on June 25 in the 13400 block of West Ohio Drive. Police arrived and arrested the man, who had numerous warrants. He also had a broken leg from four -weeks prior and was taken to the hospital.

3 Stalking arrest. Police received a report June 26 about a woman being followed home from work by her estranged husband in the area of West Alameda Avenue and South Garrison Street. The man had nationwide warrants for domestic violence and stalking. He was booked on felony stalking charges.

4 Teenager charged with possession. A woman called police June 25 to say her 18-year son was suicidal and driving around the area of Van Gordon Street and Eighth Avenue. Police located the man, who wasn’t suicidal but said he was upset with his mom for not paying his college tuition. He was issued a summons for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcohol.

5 Restraining order ignored. Police received a report June 26 that a woman with a restraining order was at the protected person’s house in the 1500 block of South Cape Street. The woman said she was there showering and “just trying to rehydrate.” She was arrested.
