A bicyclist was injured Tuesday in Denver in a collision with a car.
The accident happened about 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of East Harvard Avenue and South York Street, according to Denver police.
The bicyclist came out of an alleyway and was struck, said Sonny Jackson, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The driver of the car had the right-of-way and was not cited, Jackson said.
Injuries to the bicyclist, who was taken to a hospital, are not life-threatening, Jackson said.
Traffic on Harvard between Gaylord and York was halted for a short time after the accident.
