A man was rescued after a trench collapsed in Aurora Tuesday morning.
The man was working in the trench and was buried up to his waist, 7NEWS Reporter Lindsay Watts confirmed.
The Aurora Fire Department said they were working to extricate the man at about 9:30 a.m.
1400 Blk S. Oakland Street is CLOSED due to a technical rescue in progress. Please avoid the area.

The fire department gave the man oxygen and attached an IV as they worked to free him.

The man was successfully removed from the trench at about 11:05 a.m.
