Four pallets of patio bricks stolen. On July 11, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to the 10800 block of Cedar Brook Drivein Highlands Ranch where someone had stolen four pallets of patio brick a homeowner was using for brickwork on his home.
2 Residential mischief. On July 11, a deputy was dispatched to the 800 block of Summer Drivein Highlands Ranch where someone had broken a porch light and a screen door of a residence while a woman was sleeping in the afternoon. It was estimated it would cost $600 to repair the damage.
3 Trailer worth $1,800 stolen after accident. On July 11, a deputy was dispatched to AMF Littleton Lanes,2530 East County Line Road, Littleton, where a man said his son had an accident on C-470 the other day and left behind a trailer, worth $1,800, that was stolen.
4 Cell phone stolen at elementary school. On July 11, a deputy talked to a woman whose cell phone was stolen at Trailblazer Elementary,9760 S. Hackberry Streetin Highlands Ranch, while walking her dog. The man who stole the phone told her, “Come and get it, Crip.”
5 Thief takes $800 bicycle. On July 10, a deputy responded to the 900 block of Summer Drive in Highlands Ranch where a woman reported her $800 bicycle was stolen from her front porch on July 4 while she was away watching fireworks. Neighbors did not see anything.
