In wide-ranging business and management programs, Regis University explores a spectrum of opportunities and challenges within organizations today. These topics, which expand well beyond maximizing returns, explore the role and interaction of business in the community, and focus on building a stronger symbiotic relationship between organizations and society. This broad, holistic approach enables students to transform their careers and communities.
Reflected in these U.S. News & World Report-ranked programs is the Jesuit Catholic heritage that forms the foundation of learning at Regis University. Students focus on the theories and practices that promote effective leadership and positive change within organizations and their environments. They also gain business skills and actionable knowledge as taught by instructors with a business experience. An overarching theme of the various programs is corporate social responsibility as it relates to social innovation, global competitiveness, entrepreneurialism and sustainability. In addition, various service learning opportunities provide a connection to community partner agencies, enabling students to accomplish their course objectives in real-world settings. “Through the Regis University business and management programs, students learn to perform more creatively, ethically and effectively within the complex organizations of the 21st century,” explained Tony Vrba, PhD, SPHR, dean for the School of Management. Business and management students can choose from participating online, at the University’s main Denver campus or at various regional locations. Classes for the upcoming fall term start on Aug. 25.
