1 Family feud. Police were called to the 500 block of North Empire Street because a woman said that her brother threw a wall mirror at her and cut her leg. The woman got into a fight with her brother over rent money after she came home late July 19. The siblings’ mother witnessed the fight and said that her daughter broke the mirror and cut herself. Police didn’t charge anyone.

2 Kicked in door. A woman went to her home in the 14800 block of East Alabama Avenue and found that someone broke down her front door July 16. The victim said nothing was taken.

3 Stolen saw. A man who lives in the 2700 block of South Rifle Street realized that he left his garage door open July 12 and that someone stole his $350 table saw while he was asleep. There are no suspects.

4 Suspicious acquaintances. Police responded to the 11800 block of East Colfax Avenue because a woman said two other woman stole her cell phone while they were hanging out at her apartment July 12. The victim was unable to find the phone with the two women when she later approached them, so police couldn’t do anything.

5 Bedroom invader. A woman noticed that someone broke into her home in the 900 block of Idalia Circle when she saw that all of her bedroom drawers had been pulled out July 9. Police said the intruders likely entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.

6 Cut gas line. A man discovered that someone entered his home in the 2800 block of North Macon Way and cut the gas line to his stove and furnace July 8. There are no suspects.
