Aurora police are investigating a shooting in the 1200 block of South South Potomac Street.
Police said on Twitter a little before 10 p.m. Thursday that a victim arrived at that location by car but police believe the shooting actually occurred somewhere else.
They are still working on identifying a suspect. The victim, a woman, is in serious condition but expected to survive, police said.
