BOULDER — Following Tuesday’s practice, Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre praised the improvement being shown by sophomore cornerback Yuri Wright.
Wright, a former four-star recruit from New Jersey power Don Bosco Prep, played in eight games as a freshman in 2012 with six starts. He was redshirted in 2013 after suffering a concussion during August camp.
“Yuri has improved, the last few days he’s improved,” MacIntyre said. “He is starting to understand the coverages a little bit better, the feel of where to be on the field, leverages and other things. I have seen a jump in Yuri the last few days, I really have.”
