Ex-Whiskeytown frontman, , is going all in on his latest S/T album due for release via his own label, Pax-Am Records, on Sept. 9.
The news of the country crooner album due to his perfectionism should come as no surprise to fans. The good news is that there’s plenty of material to satisfy fans post-humously when the time comes according to the NME interview with Ryan Adams.
In the meantime, Mr. Mandy Moore is churning out satisfying adult contemporary rock. Wednesday night saw Adams hit the Fallon stage with his backing band, the Shining, for a gradual take on “Gimme Something Good.” But the performance starring ex-Coors Light spokeswoman, Elvira. The video channels an aesthetic not seen since the early 90s on VH1 from Don Henley.
