‘s long-awaited reunion tour was one of the biggest announcements in music of 2013 and one of the hottest tickets of 2014. With more than 40 festival dates this year, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governors Ball and more. and make their first appearance in Colorado since reuniting on Friday for Mad Decent block party. But what happens next is still unclear. This summer of OutKast ends the first weekend of November, and this couldn’t be the last blast of the legendary hip-hop duo that we get, could it?

So we take some educated guesses at the big question: What will OutKast do after the reunion tour?

Big Boi goes back to his productive solo career

While Andre 3000 took years off from the stage, Big Boi stayed in top form releasing solo albums and collaborating with indie bands like Phantogram. He toured the states, even stopping through Denver on more than one occasion. The most logical guess is that he continues his solo performance reign with his Daddy Fat Sax persona.

An HBO series documenting the reunion tour

Andre 3000 is a bit of a different animal when it comes to releasing new material and re-emerging into the public eye. We’ve seen clips and pictures of the Gemini playing Jimi Hendrix in what will no doubt be an epic telling of Hendrix’s life story. The possibilities of an HBO series that documents the fervor of hip-hop’s greatest comeback band are endless. Big Boi has even toyed around with the idea of releasing a “Game of Thrones” mixtape.

Andre 3000 will not, in fact, release new music

Itap highly possible that Andre 3000 will fade back out of the music scene as quickly as he was thrust back into it. Albeit guest verses like the brilliant appearance on Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter,” or even the song-stealing performance on Rick Ross’ “Sixteen,” tunes from 3K have been scarce. Dare we dream even further for an OutKast appearance on some epic rap posse cut that emphasizes both of their eclectic growth and evolution?

The two will embark on a world tour

Sure the states have gotten their fill of OutKast, but could the world be next? Big Boi has always been the kind of rhyme slinger you can just wind up and let him spit all over any form of production but Andre is more selective and complete in his performances. The fact that the tour has lasted a multitude of cities, time zones and opening acts is almost a feat within itself. Reunion tours can sometimes highlight weaknesses in band’s partnerships, though, this has been far from the case with OutKast. Perhaps, as they imply on “Aquemini,” OutKast really is forever.

This is, in fact the last, hurrah

Now, this is a fan’s worst case scenario, but wouldn’t it be a little poetic if OutKast finished this tour and placed a “the end” on the legendary run of the duo? Give the fans one last chance, then bow out gracefully.

An album?

The two have said over and over that no new OutKast album is in the works, but we can only hope.
