A thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind and hail is passing through northwest Adams County.
The storm is moving east/northeast at 40 miles per hour as it skirts along Barr Lake and the north end of Denver International Airport, the National Weather Service reported Monday afternoon. A thunderstorm warning expires at 5:45 p.m.
The storm has produced 60 mile-per-hour winds and hail that is 1 inch in diameter.
