A 45-year-old Denver man has been charged in a child sex assault case.
Derrick Sharp faces charges of sexual assault on a child, and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust, the Denver District Attorney’s Office said in a news release Thursday.
He is being held at the Denver jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
His next court appearance is scheduled Tuesday.
