One person was seriously injured early Wednesday morning when a pickup truck rolled several times on Highway 82 in Pitkin County, authorities say.
The victim, who was in critical condition, was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Aspen and then flown by helicopter to a Denver hospital, said Nate Reid, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
The driver was in a 2003 pickup truck when he lost control on the 44000 block of Highway 82 and crashed at 4:52 a.m. The pickup rolled several times, Reid said.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
