1 Beers at the library. An underage boy was ticketed for tossing an empty beer in front of the Anythink Library at 9417 Huron St., Thornton, where he was sitting Aug. 22. The boy apologized and told police he didn’t know that he couldn’t drink there.

2 Drunk at Water World. A man was arrested for throwing a wad of paper at police officers as he and a group of intoxicated friends were being escorted from Water World at 8801 Pecos St., Federal Heights. Police gave him a summons Aug. 9.

3 Dangerous rigging. A police officer pulled over an unlicensed driver in the 9100 block of Huron Street, Thornton. The driver had a police baton in the car, which he said he only used to hold a compartment shut. The officer took the baton and had the car towed Aug. 11.

4 Roadside graffiti crew. Officers patrolling the 6200 block of 60th Avenue, Commerce City, saw two men tagging a construction sign next to the road Aug. 15. The officers stopped the men down the street and confiscated thick black markers and a bottle of vodka that they were carrying.

5 Dog limit. Police went to the 2800 block of West 98th Circle, Federal Heights, because a woman complained that her neighbor had four dogs that were always barking. The neighbor was given a summons Aug. 13 because the city only allows three dogs per household.

6 False alarm. A man called police to report that his work trailer was stolen from the 6400 block of 69th Avenue, Commerce City, on Aug. 18. Two days later, the man called back and said another employee had found the trailer and returned it.
