A man was cited on charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct Wednesday morning after he allegedly shot at rabbits on Fossil Boulevard in Fort Collins.

Robert Underhill was cited for misdemeanor disorderly conduct, discharge of a firearm, and reckless endangerment, also a misdemeanor, according to a news release by Deputy Chief Cory Christensen.

Fort Collins police were called at 7:30 a.m. about gunfire near 5003 Fossil Blvd. Employees had heard gunshots and found bullet fragments near the west side of a business at that location.

had not been shooting at the business, but at rabbits, Christensen said in a news release.
