1 Fight starts after selfie. On Aug. 24, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Bandimere Speedway, 3051 Rooney Road, Morrison, after a fight broke out near an ATM machine. The fight began after a woman spilled her drink on a man while taking a selfie. The woman then pulled another woman’s hair during the fight.

2 Group argues over flat tire. On Aug. 21, a deputy responded a group of people yelling profanities at one another near Brakes Plus, 5800 S. Kipling Parkway in the Littleton area. A deputy contacted the parties involved and learned that the argument stemmed from a flat tire they sustained during a drive.

3 Shoplifting at Kohl’s. A woman was arrested for shoplifting Aug. 9 for attempting to steal cosmetics from Kohl’s, 8444 S. Kipling Parkway in the Littleton area. The woman was observed putting items into a purse and attempting to leave the store. She was stopped by a loss-prevention officer.

4 Fireworks thrown on property. A woman called deputies on Aug. 2 to report people in a truck throwing fireworks on her property and ringing her doorbell. A deputy responded to the 4800 block of South Queen Street in the Littleton area and contacted the woman. She said she didn’t know the suspects and didn’t know anyone who would do what they did.

5 Three cars have tires slashed. On July 24, a deputy was dispatched to the 11900 block of West Marlowe Avenue in the Littleton area on a report of tires being slashed. The officer contacted the reporting party and observed two more vehicles with damaged tires.
