Proving there is a limit after all to the embarrassment an NFL team will endure at the hands of a rogue player, the Baltimore Ravens finally cut Ray Rice Monday for punching out his future wife in February.
Not to be outdone in the belated maneuvering brought on by release of a video from the elevator where the incident occurred, the NFL then quickly suspended the star running back indefintely.
But why did it require this latest video to seal Rice’s fate when it was already known he’d knocked the woman unconscious? How did the Ravens and NFL suppose this occurred if not through the sort of vicious blows seen in the video?
