1 Boyfriend suffers face kick. A night of drinking and arguing Aug. 27 in the 13900 block of West Warren Drive, Lakewood, ended with a woman kicking her boyfriend in the face after he threatened to take her kids. She was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

2 Craigslist revenge. Police were dispatched to a gas station at 7603 W. 13th Ave., Lakewood, on Aug. 27 to help a woman retrieve items from a woman she had just broken up with. The woman also reported receiving a large number of texts and phone calls from men who saw an online advertisement with her phone number soliciting sex. The ex-girlfriend admitted to posting the ad and was arrested for harassment.

3 Pill and alcohol use in DUI. Witnesses reported seeing a truck in the area of South Wadsworth Boulevard and West Eastman Place in Lakewood on Aug. 29 swerve across lanes, hit concrete barriers and drive in the opposite lane. Officers found prescription pills in the vehicle and the woman had a revoked license, no proof of insurance and showed signs of intoxication.

4 Homeless woman refuses to vacate. A six-week effort by a developer and police to force a group of eight homeless individuals off a property at 1350 Allison St. in Lakewood ended Aug. 27 when police arrived to help clear the encampment. A trespass summons was issued to one woman who refused to leave.

5 Luxury sedan stolen in Edgewater. Sometime between 5 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 24, a 2006 Chrysler 300 with Kansas license plates was stolen while parked in the 2800 block of Kendall Street, Edgewater.
