Paul Banks appeared front and center with a well slicked mane and gold accents to compliment his signature baritone voice. Carlos D’s replacement on bass, Brad Truax, took away from the brooding guitar licks from Daniel Kessler with his close resemblance to Billy Ray Cyrus. It has to be the soul patch. In one of the most endearing acts of flattery, David Letterman jokingly invited himself to be the newest member of the band at the end of the performance.
