1 Man reports glass in his driveway. On Sept. 3, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after he found some broken glass in his driveway in the 9900 block of West Walden Avenue in the Littleton area. The man told deputies that he suspected someone was placing broken glass in his driveway on purpose as he had previously had a similar experience. He said he didn’t get along with one his neighbors, but didn’t want deputies to contact that person.
2 Deputies respond to screaming woman. Deputies responded to a woman screaming for help Sept. 6 in the 8300 block of South Upham Way, Columbine (Littleton). Deputies contacted a man and a woman. The man told deputies that he was looking to move out of his apartment and got into an argument with his landlord. The landlord said she screamed when the man was walking away with a tote bag. The tote bag was owned by the man.
3 Woman hears objects hit house. A woman called deputies on Sept. 4 after her daughter heard objects hitting her house in the 4000 block of South Devinney Street near Morrison. The deputies talked to the daughter who said she heard shots she believed came from either a paintball gun or BB gun. She said she shouted that objects were striking the house and the shots stopped.
4 Fresh graffiti reported. On Sept. 2, a deputy went to the 9600 block of West Coal Mine Avenue in the Littleton area after some fresh graffiti was reported there. The deputy saw the graffiti on an Xcel power box and on an “Adopt-A-Highway” sign.
