Chef Ann Cooper, Nutrition Services Director at the Boulder Valley School District, won the 2014 Pathfinder Award for her focus on making sure that children have access to healthy, fresh food. Cooper is founder and president of the , which supports school districts across the country through grant programs and by providing tools for school food change.
Hugo Matheson and Kimbal Musk, chefs and co-founders of restaurants and The Kitchen Community Nonprofit, won the 2014 Rocky Mountain Sustainer Award for revolutionizing the farm-to-table idea, and communicating a strong sustainability ethic.
Anne and Paul Cure, founders of the , won the 2014 Foodshed Champion Award for their commitment to preserving the natural diversity of the local ecosystem.
co-chef and owner of the Border Grill restaurants in Santa Monica, Downtown Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, won the 2014 National Sustainer Award recipient for her dedication to serving seasonal, sustainable ingredients.
