Regis Jesuit and Rock Canyon softball teams will play their third annual cancer awareness game today, 10 a.m., at Rock Canyon in Highlands Ranch.
Each school has been raising money to donate to Sense of Security, a Colorado non-profit corporation that provides financial assistant to local breast-cancer patients. The organization’s website is www.senseofsecurity.org.
A year ago, the teams raised more than $2,500.
In addition to the game, there will be a raffle as well as food and the featuring of cancer survivors and other items to benefit the game.
It will be the final game for both teams as regionals will be next week. It also is a Continental League matchup.
