1 Long way to go for a picture. A man was cited and arrested at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 24 after he climbed a crane in a construction area in the 1500 block of Wewatta Street. Denver police responded to the scene after the man climbed over a fence, which set off silent alarms. When the suspect descended from the crane and was taken into custody, he told officers he wanted to go up to take pictures.

2 Man causes disturbance with milk in hand. Denver police arrested a man Sept. 29 for causing a disturbance in the 1900 block of Hudson St. The reporting party said the man was yelling on his porch, holding a gallon of milk. Officers could hear the man yelling a half block away and found him still with the milk. It was later discovered that some milk, eggs and apple juice were missing from a nearby icebox on a porch.

3 Man attempts to rob ex girlfriend. A woman ran to a Denver police station on Sept. 30 after her ex boyfriend tried to rob her in the 13800 block of East Albrook Drive. The woman said her ex boyfriend approached her outside her apartment, pointed a gun at her head and demanded her money. Rather than give him anything, she ran to the police station to file the report. (Not on map).

4 Suspects shoot BB gun out of car. On Sept. 25, Denver police officers responded to Colorado Free University, 3001 S. Federal Blvd., after security officers said that a white Pontiac drove by shooting a BB gun. They said there were three suspects in the car and one was shooting the BB gun at signs out the rear window. Three signs were hit in total and an officer heard five shots.
