The shows Republicans in a good position just days before ballots go to voters.
Republican U.S. Senate candidate Cory Gardner holds a 43 percent to 37 percent lead against Democratic incumbent Mark Udall, according to a of likely voters. And the Republican candidate for governor Bob Beauprez is tied at 42 percent with Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper.
The live-caller poll — conducted Saturday through Tuesday by Democratic pollster Chris Anderson and Republican pollster Daron Shaw — has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.
The poll showed about 11 percent are undecided in the Senate race and 9 percent in the governor’s race. The numbers include likely voters leaning toward the candidates and about 20 percent may still change their minds.
President Barack Obama’s approval rating stood at 36 percent with 57 percent disapproving and 7 percent undecided, according to the poll.
The poll is one of five Fox News released showing Republicans ahead of Democrats, a point Democrats used to dispute the numbers.
