After reading all the articles Thursday on the Aurora theater shooting report, I was sickened once again by the event. What is just as sickening, though, is the “justice” system in this case. Why has this monster not been handed down a sentence? Worse yet, he hasn’t even been brought to trial. Give him his right to a “speedy trial,” whatever that means these days, and be done with it. All the living victims and their families need closure and the right to continue on with life.
