Chocolate is the guest of honor at the two-day Choctoberfest with chocolatiers and vendors offering samples, demos, children’s events, Halloween activities, contests, gifts and more from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 17 and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 18. David Lewis, Brown Palace executive pastry chef, and award-winning chocolatier and best-selling author Julie Pech are among the special guests. Don’t miss Happy Hour, 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 17.
