Police in Denver have released a surveillance image of a woman they say was with a teen girl who tried to steal items from an area Walmart earlier this month.
The two attempted the theft on Oct. 3 about 2 p.m. at the Walmart on the 7800 block of East Smith Road, police said.
“When contacted by employees, the suspect assaulted the staff then fled the store,” according to police.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information about the attempted theft.
