Heavy delays are now dissipating on Interstate 25 northbound approaching Lincoln Avenue south of Denver on Monday morning after construction clean up caused a miles-long backup.

The Colorado Department of Transportation reported about 6:30 a.m. that traffic between Castle Pines and Lincoln Avenue was moving about 14 mph.

The construction clean up was completed about 8:15 a.m.

The highway was reduced to one lane through the area.
