A three-inch underground gas line break in the Littleton area is causing some worries Monday morning, though officials say leaking gas poses no risk.
The break is located at Coal Mine Avenue and Garrison Street, according to West Metro Fire Rescue.
“The gas is basically blowing into the air, dissipating,” said Doug Hutchinson, district chief.
Xcel Energy crews on are scene and working to repair the break, Hutchinson said.
