Interview with Brad Yoder, owner

Q: How did you get involved in this business?

A: I started Biker Brad’s after two seasons of selling motorcycles. We provide south Denver, Centennial, Aurora and Parker motorcyclists with an alternative resource for quality leather riding gear, accessories, performance footwear, patches and patch sewing.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?

A: We have a 685-pound motorcycle displayed in the store window — three feet off the floor! But what really differentiates us from other businesses in our category is that we have a commercial sewing machine on-site and hundreds of patches for your vest or jacket in stock. We specialize in sewing leather patches and minor repairs. At Biker Brad’s, we also have sunglasses, goggles, gloves for all seasons, headwear for all seasons, vest extenders, wallets and wallet chains.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?

A: No. 1 is helping people. Helping people fulfill their needs and desires with regards to their riding gear, their look with patches or the fit of their chaps and leathers.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?

A: Getting good vendors to supply my products on time. I have enjoyed finding local manufacturers where possible.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:

A: Since Day 1, we are open on Saturdays and Sundays year-round, and we would love to be a stop on any poker run that you are planning for 2015.
