1 Suspects found on bar roof. On Oct. 2, Denver police officers responded to a report of people on the roof at Mile High Saloon, 2014 S. University Blvd. Officers learned that the manager had asked the suspects to get off the roof. When police arrived, one person was still on the roof and the power was off in the bar because of people stepping on power boxes.
2 Event center owner doesn’t have permit. Homeowners called Denver police on Oct. 3 after they heard loud music late at night. The officer responded to the Lupita Event Center, 2465 W. Evans Ave., and contacted the owner, who did not have a permit to play loud music.
3 Disturbance at Proof Nite Club. On Oct. 4, Denver police responded to Proof Nite Club, 7800 E. Hampden Ave., after a patron caused a disturbance. The suspect had been asked to leave when he threw a punch at a staff member. He missed and fell to the ground.
4 Robbery victim stabbed at bus stop. A man called Denver police after he was robbed Oct. 6 near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Evans Avenue. The victim told police that he was at the bus stop when three men approached and asked for his money. When he refused, one suspect pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the arm.
5 Man followed by cars, punched. A man was assaulted Oct. 5 after he honked his car horn at some drivers burning out their tires in the 1800 block of Federal Boulevard. Denver police spoke to the victim who said after he honked, the suspects began following the victim. They cut him off, got out of the car and punched him.
