Three people accused of a Denver crime spree that included more than $75,000 in cash and a number of firearms were arrested by the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said Andrew Burns, Dominic Tuttle and Courtney Jones were taken into custody on Sept. 30 and charged with burglary, theft, and motor vehicle theft.

According to officials, Weld County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 3900 block of WCR 21 to assist another agency. Upon arrival they discovered the residence had been burglarized, with two vehicles, firearms and prescription narcotics among the items taken.

The department’s investigation led to the discovery that the suspects had engaged in a crime spree in Denver that included armed robbery, a car- jacking and a shooting.

Among the items recovered were approximately $77,000 dollars, three handguns, two rifles, one shotgun, and two vehicles.

Weld County Investigators along with Denver, Commerce City, and Brighton detectives combined their efforts, leading to the arrests.
