Authorities in Colorado Springs arrested a 15-year-old boy on Thursday accused of arson in a fire Monday that charred an apartment complex.
The blaze happened about 6:30 p.m. on the 5000 block of El Camino Drive. Responding fire crews found fire and smoke in a bedroom in the apartment complex.
Some 40 firefighters and 10 firefighting apparatus battled the blaze, the Colorado Springs Fire Department said in a news release.
Several residents were displaced by the blaze, which did not cause any injuries.
The department did not identify the teen accused in the case.
