Some southbound lanes on South Colorado Boulevard will be closed Friday and Saturday as workers replace a fire hydrant.
Traffic delays are expected in the stretch along the 450 block of South Colorado Boulevard near the intersection of Cherry Creek North Drive.
Denver Water Department workers are expected to close one southbound lane between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday, said Travis Thompson, a water department spokesman.
Two southbound lanes will be close from 9 a.m. until the work is finished on Saturday, Thompson said.
