Joe Neguse is the Democratic candidate for Colorado secretary of state. (John Leyba, The Denver Post)
Joe Neguse is well-qualified for the important position of secretary of state and is committed to ensuring every citizen’s access to casting their ballot. As a first-generation American, Neguse understands and values the right and obligation to vote. He has been a successful attorney, civic leader and public servant.
Neguse has served on the University of Colorado Board of Regents and has worked to build bipartisan support on tough issues. He co-founded a non-profit that has registered tens of thousands of voters.
Neguse’s platform includes increasing technology to make voting easier for voters with disabilities or in nursing homes; streamlining the process for active military personnel; and increasing voting options in rural areas and voting locations on campuses. He will oppose efforts to disenfranchise minority and elderly voters.
A vote for Joe Neguse is a vote for inclusive democracy.
