Two 2014 Olympians and the Avalanche’s 2013-14 leading scorer and Lady Byng Trophy winner will continue to play together in Thursday night’s game against the New York Islanders at the Pepsi Center. Matt Duchene (Canada), Gabe Landeskog (Sweden) and Ryan O’Reilly (28 goals) finished Tuesday’s game against the San Jose Sharks together, and after not practicing Wednesday, they were together again in Thursday’s morning skate.
The second line features Nathan MacKinnon between Jamie McGinn and Jarome Iginla. John Mitchell will center Alex Tanguay and Dennis Everberg and Marc-Andre Cliche is with wingers Cody McLeod and Max Talbot. Odd man out: .
