1 Wasted ice cream man. A business owner called police to the 9100 block of Fontane Street, Federal Heights, because she watched an ice cream vendor park his cart outside and then urinate on her building. His pants were still unzipped and he was drunk when police found him Oct. 3.

2 Ugly dumping. Two men in a black truck drove up to a field in the 17000 block of East 88th Avenue, Commerce City, and left a moldy, blue floral sofa there. A witness called police Oct. 17, but didn’t have a license plate number.

3 Knives in the park. Police were called to Bell Roth Park at 1400 Milky Way, Thornton, because a man brandished a knife at two women who were walking their dogs and insinuated that he would cut the dogs if they came up to him. Police ticketed the man Oct. 14.

4 Underwear thieves. Loss prevention at the K-Mart at 1400 E. 104th Ave., Thornton, called police after they observed two women opening packages of underwear and hiding the merchandise in their purses Oct. 15. The women were apprehended in the parking lot.

5 Public beers. A patrolling officer noticed two men sitting in Valentine Park at 7350 Magnolia St., Commerce City, with beer cans in the their hands Oct. 23. He confiscated the beers and cited the men.

6 Break-in, run off. The owner of Dillon Towing at 5850 Dahlia St., Commerce City, called police to report that someone forced open the front door of his business Oct. 22. He said nothing was stolen, and he wasn’t sure that anyone even entered the building.
