1 Drunken man won’t leave porch. A man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Oct. 22 after a drunken man in a blue Hawaiian shirt refused to leave his front porch in the 8300 block of West Fairview Lane in the Littleton area. The victim said the suspect was repeatedly asked to leave, but began to kick the door to be let inside. The suspect was arrested and the victim claimed he had damaged the door.

2 Halloween teddy bears found damaged. On Oct. 25, deputies responded to criminal mischief involving Halloween decorations in the 4300 block of South Union Street in the Littleton area. A man reported that his Halloween decorations included dressed teddy bears and that one had been mutilated and the stuffing was found near a tree. He said a different bear had been taken a few weeks earlier and had been dragged down the street and that the mutilated bear was a replacement.

3 Fire damage reported. On Oct. 23, deputies responded to the 6700 block of South Holland Way in the Littleton area on a report of fire damage to papers on a mailbox cluster. Investigation revealed that the perpetrator likely lit one of the pieces of paper on a cork bulletin board on fire. There were no suspects.

4 Elementary school fence damaged. A woman called on Oct. 25 to report that she had seen individuals kicking and damaging fencing attached to Mortensen Elementary School, 8006 S. Iris Way in the Littleton area. In all, 17 wooden planks were damaged. The woman saw the perpetrators while walking her dogs, but could not see them well because it was dark.
