Get your game — and your VR headset — on at the 2014 Denver Indie Game Expo.

Denver isn’t exactly known for its homegrown video games, despite some to the contrary, but the Indie Gaming Expo is hoping to change that.

The 2014 installment, which takes place from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at in Arvada, will feature games, demos, art and music, according to organizers, who are expecting about two dozen attendees at this year’s event.

Gamers can try out games under development, virtual reality games or demos (such as Oculus Rift projects), micro-console titles for , and more.

The event also provides an all-important, real-world meeting space for developers, artists and gamers, as well as the usual festival trappings/perks (a prize raffle, sponsors and other activities). Indie and home developers looking to showcase a game can .
