Air Academy is ranked No. 1 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
The Kadets, who recently won the Class 4A state championship, finished 20-0. No other team in the poll, which lists 25, finished the season with no losses and no ties. St. Benedict’s Prep of Newark, N.J. (19-0).
With a 7-0 record, the Kadets also won the 4A Pikes Peak League and outscored their opposition by a combined 102-5.
Air Academy also registered 16 shutouts.
The Poll will end on Nov. 25, so the Kadets will have an opportunity to finish at No. 1.
