1 Man’s cigarette ash burns umbrella. A woman summoned a Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy on Nov. 3 to the 11700 block of West Chenango Avenue in the Littleton area where she said her upstairs neighbor flicked cigarette ash on her porch, damaging an umbrella, and had previously dumped water on her and brushed leaves onto her porch. The neighbor later admitted that he likely damaged the umbrella and offered to buy a new one.

2 Woman harassed over dog. On Nov. 5, a woman called deputies after her neighbor yelled at her and her dog in the 6800 block of South Allison Way, Columbine (Littleton). The woman said she went outside when she heard her dog bark and a man yell at the dog. The man then yelled at the woman about quieting the dog. She said the dog barks occasionally, but she always brings it inside when it does. The woman wanted the incident documented for future reference.

3 Neighbor calls police on arguing son, mother. Deputies were called to the 8900 block of West Elmshurst Avenue in the Littleton area, by a resident who reported two people were fighting and throwing bottles. Deputies learned that a mother and son had been arguing, but it was not physical in nature and neither was injured.

4 Employee stealing food. On Oct. 14, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart, 3615 W. Bowles Ave., Littleton, where an employee admitted to stealing groceries over the past month. He was cited for theft and escorted out of the store.
