The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to reunite a “substantial amount of cash” with the unlucky person who lost it.
The money was found in an envelope at a Highlands Ranch restaurant, in the vicinity of Westridge, in September.
“In order to claim this money we will require that certain details be known in order to ensure the rightful owner be identified,” the office said.
The owner of the money is asked to contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Property and Evidence Unit at (303) 660-7558.
