Commerce City Police have arrested Robbin Verser, 56, in connection with a fatal accident Friday morning that killed another woman.
Verser, who was seriously injured in the crash, was released from the hospital Saturday and transported to the Adams County Detention Facility on numerous charges including vehicular homicide and driving under the influence of alcohol.
The crash happened about 4:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Vasquez Boulevard and 60th Avenue after the vehicle reportedly driven by Verser ran a red light, striking another vehicle that was turning left, police say.
The name of the woman who was killed in the crash has not been released.
