DENVER (AP) — Traffic is picking up at Denver International Airport ahead of Thanksgiving.
About a million people are expected to pass through the airport this holiday week, with about 152,000 of them traveling on Tuesday. That’s nearly 10,000 more people than on a normal day.
Parking is still available in the garage and outlying parking lots and new screens are providing real-time updates on shuttle bus arrivals.
Meanwhile, the Colorado Springs Airport is offering travelers free parking through the end of the year.
