1 Drunk and disoriented. A woman called police to her home in the 5400 block of East 60th Avenue, Commerce City, because a strange man kept banging on her door in the middle of the night. Police took the man away from the door and realized he was too drunk to explain what he was doing there. He was arrested Nov. 12.
2 Out the bathroom window. Two sisters were arguing at their brother’s home in the 5900 block of Grape Street, Commerce City, and one sister punched the other in the face. The brother called police after the punching sister jumped out of his bathroom window and ran down the street Nov. 9.
3 Stiffed at Sonic. An employee of the Sonic at 9500 Federal Blvd., Federal Heights, called police because a customer gave him a worthless gift card as payment for food Nov. 3. The employee brought the food outside, and then the suspect sped away.
4 Easy target. Police were called to a construction site in the 2500 block of West 90th Avenue, Federal Heights, Oct. 29 because someone threw rocks through the windows of a vacant building that is under construction there.
5 Unpleasant walk. A woman who lives in the 9500 block of Pecos Street, Thornton, was ticketed when her dog attacked another dog Oct. 29. The suspect let her dog out to relieve itself, and it ran after her neighbor’s dog while the victims were on a walk.
6 Caught on camera. Loss prevention employees at the Home Depot at 10003 Grant Street, Thornton, called police after they apprehended a woman for trying to steal various tools Oct. 28.
