Store bird threatened. A worker at the EAPL Thrift Store, 27888 Meadow Drive, Evergreen, called Jefferson County Sheriff on Nov. 22 to report harassment. She said that when a couple and their child were there the week before, they lied about the price of shelves they bought and the child tried to stab the store’s bird. Then they returned, the child antagonized the bird again and they threatened the employee when she mentioned the price of the shelves.

Tenant triangle. On Nov. 16, Jeffco Sheriff got a call about a resident of the 4900 block of Camel Heights Road, Evergreen. The reporting party had planned to move in until the resident – a renter – said he was being evicted, that she could no longer move in and demanded money for boxes she had there. She brought a police escort when she picked up her boxes, then got harassing text messages from the resident. In a separate report for the same day, the resident kicked another woman out of the residence for staying for a week without paying rent.
