More than a month after a 29-year-old woman was found dead in an Adams County motel room, authorities on Friday night arrested a man on suspicion of first-degree murder in her death.

Joshua Bohl, 33, is being held at the county jail without bond on the murder charge in the death of Jayme Hosier and in violation of a protection order.

Hosier was found by sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 4 at the Crestline Motel in the 7300 block of Brighton Road. Authorities were responding to reports of a dead woman when they found her body.

Authorities said initially her “cause and manner of death were not known.”

The county sheriff’s and coroner’s offices have not said how Hosier died, only that they have determined it to be a homicide.

Hosier’s two young children are now in the custody of her mother, Michelle Behrendt. Donations to help the children may be made at
